3、在离子压缩机中，氢气被压缩至700bar以减少储存体积。氢气的压力通过5个步骤被逐渐提高，并保持能量损失接近零。
4、高压氢气被储存在一个模块化的气罐系统。通过使用轻质复合气罐，来降低重量和成本。该气罐的储氢能力为400吨，压力为700bar，能够容纳海上风电场3天的平均产量。
