12月27日，上海临港海上风力发电有限公司揭牌暨《委托业主协议》签署仪式顺利举行。临港风电公司由申能新能源投资有限公司、华能新能源股份有限公司和上海绿色环保能源有限公司共同投资组建，申能新能源负责该公司日常管理及运营。这是申能新能源继内蒙达茂旗项目后，在风电领域取得的又一个重大突破。临港海上风力发电项目是国家发改委在上海推出的第二个海上风电示范项目。位于南汇边滩东侧海域。计划安装我国自主研发的6MW大型海上风机17台，总装机容量102MW。项目特许期28年。项目总投资175905万元，计划于2014年9月建成。海上风电场估算年上网电量28080万 kWh，年等效负荷小时数2753小时。年节省约标煤9万吨，年减排二氧化碳约24.9万吨
